There are home improvement projects and there are home improvement projects. That is, there are the kind that require valuable use of your time and resources to hire the right contractor and then there are the “DIY over the weekend” projects. Whether you’re selling your home or improving a newly bought house, there are several projects you can undertake that will enhance the look of your home without breaking the bank!

1. Revamp your garden and entryway. Few things are as important as curb appeal…
2. Refresh your walls. Figure you can change the color of some walls and/or revive a room or two by adding a fresh coat of paint or wallpaper! (Yes. Wallpaper is in; wallpaper is fun!)
3. Update your fixtures. Think bigger, smaller or more modern, but consider changing or adding lighting fixtures, door handles and hardware that add a little something.
